About Maggie
My girl, Maggie…probably from moving through my website you can make the leap that all of my dogs mean a great deal to me. Maggie is no exception.
Maggie took the Giant Schnauzer world by storm. She is a daughter of Reeba, and her father is Kirsh de ChinChingos, (that is a mouth full), Tony. Maggie’s very first show had a large entry. We took her at the age of 7 months as a warm up for the upcoming Nationals. Maggie did not see it as a warm up. She went there and won the breed over some very top dogs in the country who were also getting ready and looking their best for the upcoming Nationals.

This was all the confidence she needed; she went to the Nationals thinking she should win every time. Maggie did not quite pull off the breed at the Nationals, however she did make a lasting impression by going Best of Winners during the Eastern portion of the Nationals and winning the First Award of Merit (an incredible feat for a young dog).

I co-own Maggie with Chris and Jean Erath. Maggie is just one of those incredibly affectionate dogs that never wants to be far from the family. She spends hours protecting our farm from stray rabbits and those crazy squirrels that just seem to love to taunt her. She truly is a special girl. Maggie has already produced some magnificent puppies and we have high hopes for her ongoing contributions toward the future of Tanglewood Giant Schnauzers.
